RACE INFORMATION

Time and Date
Saturday, September 11, 2010 (rain or shine.) Sorry, no refunds.
Race-day registration is from 7:00 until 8:00 a.m.
1 mile Fun Run/Walk begins at 8:00 a.m.
5K and 10K begin at 8:30 a.m.

Registration closes at 8:00 a.m. for all races.
All pre-registered packets must be picked up before 8:00 a.m.

Race Location
New site -- Catawba Meadows Park, 701 Sanford Drive, Morganton, NC

Directions
Take I-40 Exit 100, Jamestown Road
If traveling eastbound - turn left at end of your ramp, if westbound, turn right.
Proceed through light at intersection
Straight on Independence Boulevard to next light. Bojangles is directly across intersection.
Turn right onto Highway 181.
At the next light, turn left onto Sanford Drive
Catawba Meadows Park is on your left.

Refreshments
Drinks and fresh fruit will be available.

Restroom Facilities
Showers will unfortunately not be available at the park. However, the Catawba River is very close by. Restrooms will be open and available.

Awards
Trophies awarded to winners.
  5K and 10K - top three male and female overall and top three in each age group.
    10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
  1 mile Fun Run/Walk - Top three in each age group.
     5 and under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13

You must pick up your trophy on race day.

Pre-Registration cut-off is September 6, 2010.
