Hosted by The Table Rock Runners, the annual Sunrise Run on the Greenway will again take place on Saturday morning, the weekend of the Historic Morganton Festival. Recent years have seen nearly 250 competitors in the 5K and 10K races, plus a number of kids taking part in the one-mile fun run.

After the race, be sure to stop in Downtown Morganton and attend the Historic Morganton Festival where over 60,000 people experience a variety of arts, crafts, foods, and entertainment. Bring the whole family!

Thanks to everyone who made the 2008 Sunrise Run on the Greenway a success. We had about 225 competitors in our three races.

The organizers of the Sunrise Run would also like to thank all our sponsors and volunteers for making this year's event such a success. We hope to see you again in 2009!
